One journey, many requirements to connect

Road transport is often the first or last link in a logistics chain. A suitable plan takes account of cargo readiness, access to the collection point, vehicle capacity and unloading conditions at the destination.

SEALLOGS reviews shipment details to discuss domestic transport connecting factories, warehouses, ports and border crossings. Vehicles, routes and the scope of work are confirmed against the requirements of each trip.

02

Options to suit your shipment size

A dedicated truckload may suit shipments that require greater control over collection and delivery schedules or specific vehicle requirements. Shared-load transport can be considered for smaller volumes where schedules and cargo characteristics allow consolidation.

  • Container transport between ports, depots, factories and warehouses.
  • Discussion of dedicated or shared-load options for the route.
  • Coordination of road legs with ocean freight, air freight and warehousing.
03

From receiving your request to handover

After receiving your request, we clarify the route, expected timing and delivery conditions. The plan should identify contacts at both ends, the vehicle type, loading and unloading responsibilities, and accompanying documents.

At handover, package counts and external condition should be checked within the agreed scope. Please report changes to collection times, delivery points or access conditions early so the plan can be adjusted.

04

What do we need to prepare a proposal?

Clear information helps match vehicles and cost comparisons to your requirements. Cargo with special characteristics should be discussed in advance to confirm transport conditions and acceptance.

  • Cargo description, package count, dimensions of each package, total weight and packaging method.
  • Exact collection and delivery addresses, cargo-ready date and receiving hours.
  • Handling equipment, access restrictions and any storage or care requirements.
  • Package photos and contact details for coordination at both ends.
05

Clarify costs from the start

Pricing depends on the route, vehicle, volume, timing and service scope. Confirm any charges for handling, vehicle waiting time, storage, multiple delivery stops or schedule changes. Estimated delivery times also depend on traffic and the receiving location.
